The truth don’t die regardless of how much you cover it up – Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo

Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world…would do this, it would change the earth.

How can we define truth when we don’t even know the interpretations of what truth is? What I found very interesting was this quote “Half of a truth is not the Truth”. I believe that when we tell the truth we never tell 100% of the truth. We might be embarrassed about the whole truth or maybe we just don’t want to tell how we handled the situation so we remove our part or change our part from the truth. Telling the truth is hard, we never know how the opposite side will react on the truth. It makes us insecure to tell the truth, we don’t want to be in a position where we can be questioned.

As for what is truth? Well, that is a question over which philosophers argue. It is a state of mind free of error, a state of mind which is an accurate reflection of things in existence, of the things about you. The first thing to know about truth is that it is unchangeable; it is ageless and constant. Truth does not vary or shift, it is a piece of unalterable reality. It follows, therefore, that truth is the same for all of us, thus, one should be repelled by the expression that “what is true for you is not true for me.”

Living with integrity means: Not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships. Asking for what you want and need from others. Speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension. Behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values. Making choices based on what you believe, and not what others believe.
