The worst approach to choice of marriage partner is to be submitting names to prophets and spiritualists. The most confused way of making spousal choice is to choose a person because you have seen each other’s nakedness and you don’t want him or her go.

The weakest approach to choose a marriage is to choose a person The first step in accurate and right spousal choice begins with you. It doesn’t start with those admiring you. It doesn’t start with those asking you out. Listen, it doesn’t start with those desiring but it always start with you.

Having said it begins with you, it always start with you because it is the correctness of your relationship with God, quality of your character and your understanding about marriage that form the foundation for your spousal choice. Listen, once your relationship with God is unstable, your character is questionable and your understanding about marriage is faulty then those admiring or you’re admiring will have some regrets. Papa Zion has taught on relationship with God several times but I will give certain tips as a remainder.

Listen, it begins in a threefold responsibility from you.

1. The correctness of your relationship with God.
2. The quality of your character.
3. The accuracy of your understanding about marriage.

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD: I’m not just talking about churchianity. I’m not talking about pastor’s recommendations and religious activities. I mean the track record of the leading of God in your life. How often do you fellowship with Him? I mean the dealings of God per time. The potency and effectiveness of God’s Word in your heart. The mistakes of many singles is that the last time they felt a relationship with God was in 2011 but they want God to speak to them in 2019. Can you see that?
In every step you’ve been taking has God been leading you? But it is now you want God to show you if a man is right or not.

The quality of your character is important begin to think and live like a wife before making spousal choice. The bible didn’t say he that finds a SLAY QUEEN but a WIFE this means that you must have developed the character and qualities of a wife making spousal choice. As a brother, build fatherhood in you before asking her out. Let your heart be good. Be responsible.

Third point, what’s your understanding about marriage? Accurate understanding about marriage matters a lot. Sadly, many people have faulty understanding about marriage. Ephesians 5:22-25 gave a great caption of marriage. Who is a husband to you? Who is a wife to you? You may know how to have sex while you may not know how to keep marriage. Check your understanding about marriage.

When people say they don’t know who to marry? I’m always surprised. There are things you could discover about yourself and destiny that at just meeting a person once you would know this is the person for me.

It always begin with you. The worst case is when someone who has discovered nothing about his life, destiny and future is having feelings and emotions for another person. That’s dangerous.

The next big question is …. WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE DISCOVERED ABOUT GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE THAT YOU NEED A PARTNER TO ACHIEVE?

Listen, it is what you have discovered about yourself, destiny and future that should first stir the urge to want to marry. Why you’re saying I want a sincere, clever, responsible, beautiful, caring, loving, romantic person bla bla…, What have you discovered about yourself and destiny that is stirring such specifications.
