The Nigerian Televangelists and General Overseer of the Royal Champion Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla has implored people to secured their future by investing in assets, rather than spending on liabilities.
According to the clergyman, one of the reasons why people are not successful in life is because they spend so much money on their physical appearances instead of cultivating the culture of savings and investing their resources in assets. “Having a car is a necessity but having too much cars without having any assets is bad. Achievement in life is not in how you look. If you’re a young man or woman, stop copying successful people lifestyle. Don’t spend all your money on beautiful clothes. Make sure you invest in your future,” Prophet Iginla said.
He said one of the traits of successful people is their ability to delay gratification. “It’s good to buy beautiful clothes but save some money for investment. I used to wear one suit for four years and I did not lose my anointing. So, when you see some people changing clothes, don’t copy them. Make sure you have gotten to their level financially before you copy their lifestyle. Many young people are spending all their money on clothes. It’s good to look good but when you begin to look good at the detriment of your future, you are creating a problem for yourself in the future. It is good to wear expensive wig as a woman, but when your wig is becoming too much problematic to your life, you will end up in financial mess. The price of some wig is equivalent to the price of a car used for transportation to make money, and there are ladies who has such expensive wigs but don’t have any investments. There is nothing wrong in buying wigs but make sure to invest in your future,” Prophet Iginla said.
