A Televangelist and Presiding Pastor of Power City International, Abel Damina, said there shall be no sounding of trumpet at the rapture. He said this during his recent teaching at his church’s headquarters at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Cleric backed up his teaching with Romans 8:11, which says if the Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
“That is why the rapture or what the church calls the rapture is not going to be flying to the sky, no. It is not going to be the sounding of a trumpet coming from somewhere, no. All those are metaphors. The same spirit of God in you right now will quicken you and that quickening is the resurrection, it is the rapture”, Pastor Damina said.
Speaking further, the Cleric said that your guarantee for the rapture is the spirit of God in you.
