He founded his church, Abel Damina Ministries and Power City International in 1992 and in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Dr Damina is a known grace preacher. He believes that a Christian is saved for eternity once he or she accepts Christ and his finished work on the cross. One of the most controversial teachings of Dr Damina is that sin cannot take a believer to hell.
