Mr. Bemigho Reno Omokri, a Nigerian lawyer and online motivational speaker who has taken to his verified social media accounts to advise his religious followers concerning tithe paying.
Mr. Reno Omokri, who is a human rights activist and the former spokesperson to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, that has been populary known for his daily teachings on how to make fast and legit wealth, how to enjoy life, how to interact with people, how to stay healthy, and on how to love God above all things, claimed that nothing bad is going to happen to someone who doesn’t pay his or her tithe.
The bestselling author, Reno Omokri, who aired his view concerning the unending tithe saga, stated that those who did not pay their tithe will not miss Heaven if they live righteous life while on earth, as paying of tithe has nothing to do with the salvation that God gives to every repented souls.
According to Reno’s tweet about tithe, he claimed: “If you don’t pay your tithe, things will not be tight for you. You won’t miss heaven. No devourer will be unleashed on you. You won’t get sick because of non tithe payment. Your children won’t be wayward. Enough of these lies. Your prosperity is not tied to tithes!”
Explaining this Reno’s teachings concerning tithe paying, be aware that Mr. Reno didn’t tell anyone to stop paying tithe, no, but he rather said that nobody will have negativity in his or her life for not paying tithe.
Remember, God the Father will still love you the way He loves His Son even if you don’t give your tithe. But, isn’t it wise to give your tithe after God has said we should try him with our tithes and giving? In the Gospel of Matt 23:23, Jesus Christ did not tell the Pharisees to stop paying tithe.
But anything that is not done with faith is called a sin. If you don’t have faith for the tithe, that does not invalidate it. It still remains a Bible principle. People have seen their dead brought to live because they stood on the promise that God will rebuke the devourer.
It is only on the matter of tithe that God said we should put Him to test. Other areas where the children of Israel tested God, it didn’t end well with some of them. Tithe and offering can give God access to our finances. We can work and live well. But we should involve God in all our endeavours.
