The Presiding Bishop of Answers Assembly, Warri, Delta State, Bishop Irabor Wisdom has taken to his social media page to reveal that one of the predominant reasons for abuse and maltreatment in relationship and marriage is because some people attract who they want and not who they are.
He said,
You will attract who you are and not who you want. If who you attract is not who you are, you must be strong enough to let it go.
Where you can’t let it go, it ultimately means who you claim to be is not who you really are. Marriage is always about who you are and not about who you have.
This is the predominant reason for all the maltreatment and abuse in courtship and ultimately in marriage. How can you who claim to worship God, be joined to the person that serves other gods?
If you successfully stay there, your worship of God is fake. The scripture says two cannot walk together unless they agree. Agree on values and virtues.
