Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, the Leader of David’s Christian Centre has revealed what God showed him about marriage in a short video posted on Facebook. World-Religion gathered from the video that the betterment of the society depends solely on the success of marriages in that area.
According to Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo: “If God felt education would change the world, He would have made Adam a Principal or a Vice Chancellor. If God felt government would change the world, He would have made Adam a President or a Prime Minister. If God felt the Church would change the world, He would have made him a Pope or a pastor.
“The first thing God made Adam was a Husband and a Father. That shows you how much faith and understanding God has in marriage and its impact on man’s life. Marriage was God’s strategy to shape this world. The Church was a backup plan to whenever marriage fails.
“I am a pastor, I would have picked the Church over marriage but God said no. Covid-19 showed us that when it shutdown schools, businesses, and everything. The only thing it couldn’t shutdown was marriage. Family always comes first in all. God showed me that the criteria to have a success ministering is to have a good home running, and my eyes opened up immediately. The work pastors are doing are works that parents don’t do. Pastors are backup plans”.
