Apostle Arome Osayi, the founder of Remnant Christian Network spoke to his members about the easiest way to overcome demonic thoughts.
According to him, the beginning of demonic obsession is when a spirit begins to use your mind, and if you do not have the capacity to discern that there is a spirit that is using your mind then you are already yielding to trespass. We must also understand the warfare of the mind and how it functions. Your mind is encamped by the violation of the territory of your mind by the devil, this is where the devil begins to think through your thoughts.
Speaking further, he said that you will notice that when you are bitter, you are actually giving the devil access into your mind because those thoughts that midwife your bitterness are actually from the heart of a wicked spirit which wants to make you feel that because someone did something to you, so you have the right to feel bad and bittered.
However, when you feel very bittered, bear it in mind that a demon owns your mind, they were thinking through your thoughts and were giving you bitter feelings and if you sit in bitterness for too long, you will even become an agent of murder because you gave your mind to the devil that is why the devil gave you the anointing to partake in demonic activity.
He then said that this is a very difficult issue to deal with because the devil has established a stronghold in that faculty which is why we should engage in the warfare of the mind that requires the cast down of imaginations, the cast down of any thoughts or anything that exalt itself against the knowledge of God.
If the devil begins to bring demonic thought, what you must do is to shut it down by talking because your utterances have more authority than your thinking i.e your words have more authority than your thoughts.
Finally, when you start talking, you stop thinking. So you have to o say what is contrary to what the devil wants you to think if not, demons will overtake your thinking overtake your life but I pray that it will never be your portion in Jesus’ name.
