The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has revealed why he doesn’t vote during elections in Nigeria.
The man of God while preaching in one of Redeemed Christian Church parishes this Sunday morning revealed that he doesn’t vote because all the political parties in Nigeria are represented in his church. Therefore if he supports anyone against another, it will not be fair because he is the spiritual father to all of them.
The man of God said he is not a politician and he will never be a politician because he doesn’t have a calling to become a politician. He said he is only called by the Almighty God to become a pastor, he said he shouldn’t even be seen as a prophet because he doesn’t hear from God all the time.
Pastor Adeboye however, urged the members of his church to always show interest in politics and participate in electing new leaders, so that they can be able to elect credible and reliable leaders for the nation.
