Bishop David Oyedepo has revealed why he has not left Nigeria since 2017. He made this revelation during the midweek communion service today, as he preached a sermon about the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
He revealed that in 2017, God instructed him not to leave the country until he tells him to.
“2017 the Lord said to me ‘Don’t leave this country until I tell you to’,” he said.
“I’ve been here since then. When he speaks I don’t ask him why. Ok if I go to preach somewhere else, what will I say? The one that sent me told me not to go, so what will I say.”
