The Nigerian televangelist and Senior Pastor of David’s Christian Centre, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo spoke today via a video on his verified Facebook handle 4 hours ago on “What every Man should know about Marriage”. In the message, he revealed what he did to win his wife’s trust some years ago.
According to Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo from the video: “If you are a man and you want to lead in that home, one of the things you must provide is accountability. That means your wife also needs to know that you are a man under authority. Any head that doesn’t have a head is too dangerous. You want everybody to be accountable to you but who are you accountable to?
“The first thing I did to gain my wife’s trust when we started dating was to take her to my own mentors. You need to do that for her to know she is safe with you. I took her to Rev. Sam and others. Those are the people who she will call in case I start running mad one day. This is why when you are applying for a job, they will ask you who can we contact when you are doing something wrong”.
