Singer turned pastor and founder of Household of God Church International Ministries, Chris Okotie turned 62 today, June 16.
Born Christopher Oghenebrorie Okotie in 1958 to parents Francis Idje and Cecilia Okotie, in Ethiope-West, Delta State, he attended Edo College, Benin City and later obtained a law degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He became a born again Christian abandoning his pop music career for bible school and became a pastor soon after.
Pastor Okotie is known to be one of Nigeria’s most successful pastors and also one of the most controversial.
