Warning! This Is What The Bishop David Oyedepo Has Said To Churches That Try To Bring Another Church Down

Bishop David Oyedepo has warned churches that try to bring down another church to repent today. He gave this warning during his sermon at the Covenant Hour of Prayer meeting today. He explained that the church is a precious thing, bought by the blood of Jesus, and nobody should try to come against it.

He narrated an experience during the early days of his ministry. According to him, they shared the same property with another church, but there was no struggle for members or rivalry of any kind between the two churches.

“Because we were the first church you see when you enter, we will ask you which church you were going to. If you say the other one, we will direct you to the church. There was no ‘come to my church. My church is better than the other one,” he said.

He also said that the pastor of that church used to come to him for guidance on church growth, and he gladly helped him out. He claimed that he never met the General Overseer of the church, but he advised the pastor of the branch that shared the property with them, not to break out and start his own ministry as he was doing well under the service of his General Overseer.

He told his congregation that it is one Christ that the church serves, and nobody’s Jesus is better than the other.

“I have never opened my mouth to talk against any ministry,” the Bishop said. “I don’t know the mandate God gave the overseer, and he does not have to tell me.”
