In one of his live videos, Daddy Freeze stated that he would rather call Pastor W. F. Kumuyi a liar than say that God is not true, but was he correct?

The radio talk show host made the statement while he was addressing a statement which Pastor Kumuyi gave in 2017 where he said that God will give Buhari a solution to Nigeria’s problem in 2017.
Daddy Freeze then wondered whether 2017 to 2021 had not been long enough for God to give the solution to Buhari, and concluded that Pastor Kumuyi may have made a declaration that the spirit didn’t tell him to.
He said, “Stop making declarations that the spirit did not tell you to. Because if you said the spirit told you this, sir, I’d rather call myself a liar. I’d rather call Pastor Kumuyi a liar so that God can be true.”

In my view, it is wrong for Daddy Freeze to say that he will rather call Pastor Kumuyi a liar so that God can be true. This is because God’s ways are not usually known to man.
From the Bible, we can see instances where prophets of God made declarations that took several years before they were fulfilled.
For instance, the birth of Jesus Christ was prophesied about by the Prophet Isaiah. However, it took several years before that prophecy was finally fulfilled.
Similarly, there are other instances where prophecies were delayed, but that did not mean that the prophets who made those prophecies had lied.

Pastor Kumuyi should not be termed a liar simply because there is a delay in his prophecy or declaration that God will give Buhari a solution to Nigeria’s problem.
Accordingly, Daddy Freeze was wrong to have said he would rather call Pastor Kumuyi a liar so that God would be true because the pastor could be speaking God’s mind, although there may be a delay in it coming to pass.
