The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry in the person of Pastor Kumuyi during his message speaks on the issue of Divorce among Christian and Religion Bodies. He made it known while talking to the leaders and workers of the Ministry, during the Tuesday Key leaders Development Meeting held live in Lagos and streamed to other Satellite locations.
The Minister during one of the sub-topic for the message titled The Faith Submission of the consecrated Cross Carrier. Speaking Further he said some so-called believers do not like to endure hard times or inconveniences. They prefer to pass their burden to others, forgetting that Everyone has their cross to carry.
In his words, he said
“Some so-called Christians just a little suffering or hard time they are already filing for a divorce, thereby forgetting what lies ahead in eternity”. Some people even go as far as leaving the Church, if the church does not support their decision. It is important to know some things are convenient for the flesh, it might seem okay in your sight. However, it goes contrary to the Word of God. If you are going to Heaven, you must deny yourself what the flesh wants, you must endure until the very end. God will surely see you through if you hold on to the end.
