‘We Once looked for 3,000 Naira for church and Pastor’s house rent some years ago.’ – Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith church popularly known as Winers Chapel has revealed that the Church was in 1984 looked for three thousand naira (N3,000) for Church and Pastor’s house rent. He added that their dedication to the work of God brought the Church where it is today.

Speaking during the Covenant Hour of Prayers at the Church headquarters, the senior Bishop at the Faith Tabernacle Church admonished his congregation should not mind mockers but should always mind the Maker and obey His commandments and reap the results of their obedience.

According to the Bishop Oyedepo during the programme, he revealed that sometimes ago, the church couldn’t afford three thousand naira for Church rent and Pastor’s house rent in Kaduna State. The Cleric said he gathered leadership of the Church to demand for the money.

In the post made by Church Gist, Bishop Oyedepo said; In “October 3, 1984, we were in our little Church in Kaduna and we were in need of three thousand naira to pay for the rent of the complex for both the church and the pastor’s house.”

He added that if he had the money, he wouldn’t allow God to beg him to bring out the money for the rent.

Living Faith Church World Wide began operation on December 11, 1983 with four members.
