We would support Tinubu even if he is not a devout Muslim because his children attend church – Manasseh 

Some Christian All Progressives Congress (APC) fans in the Bauchi State local councils of Dass, Tafawa Balewa, and Bogoro have explained why they can’t avoid the party’s presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running partner Kashim Shettima.

Because Tinubu’s wife is a Christian and his children attend church, the Tinubu/Shettima ticket cannot be considered a full Muslim-Muslim ticket, according to the Christian Support Group of the APC.

They claim that Tinubu belonged to Christian society since he married a preacher and permitted his kids to go to church. Tinubu is a member of the Christian community, according to the Christian Support Group for APC in Bauchi, because he married a preacher and allowed his children to attend church.

Dr. Godfrey Manasseh added, “Our decision to support Tinubu is based on a number of factors, one of which is the fact that, as a leader, he raised people who are Nigerian.” His ability to tolerate his Christian wife is evidence that he is a patriotic Nigerian.

We don’t see this Muslim-Muslim ticket, as many claim, because he allows his wife and children to attend church. He is not entirely a Muslim, in our opinion. We chose to support him not just because he was able to welcome us but also because of the promise we saw in the campaign platform he gave Nigerians. We will back him and other APC candidates in the upcoming elections.
