Tonight it’s your turn to learn some simple everyday skills that can help you be the best version of you for your man.

1. LEARN TO SAY THE 3 MAGIC WORDS.

I know you’re probably thinking the 3 magic words are “I love you” or “I am sorry”, and you say that all the time. But nope, men don’t process love by what they hear, that is how you are wired, not us. We process love more by what we see and what you do. Learn to use the words “CAN I HELP?” Just knowing you are interested in giving him a helping hand means so much to him. There are tons of things he needs your help with, but he doesn’t know how to ask. Open up the opportunity for your man to feel like you are indeed a part of his everyday hustles. From time to time say to him, “babe, how can I make your week easier?” How can I help with the savings? How can I help with the project? How can I help with the rent this year?

2… TELL US WHAT IS ON YOUR MIND, DON’T EXPECT US TO READ IT.

No jokes, telling your man how you feel is a skill every woman needs to learn. some of you are used to just soaking up and wait for your main to magically conjure what is on your mind. No communicate with us please. When we ask “how are you” and you say “fine”, we believe you are fine, that’s it. I know there is a part of this marriage syllabus that says men should push further to study the mood and body language of their wives, but some of you, even after studying the whole body language textbook, you’ll still be expecting us to read your mind. Please communicate. Sometimes he wont know if you have a headache if you don’t say, he is not a science student. He may not know you have cramps or what to do to help you ease up, tell him how you feel and how he can help, don’t wait for him to interprete your feelings all the time, this things are supposed to be easy.

3… LEARN TO CUT DOWN ON YOUR MAKEUP TIME.

That was how we almost missed the wedding because bestie was using 30minutes to rub one yellow thing under her eyebrows. Please aunties, just know that we know that you are already beautiful, we are not saying don’t use makeup, but if you’re going out with him, please, just rub dusting powder lets go. Funny thing is that men don’t even know the difference🤣🤣

4… LEARN TO BE PATIENT WITH US.

Patience is a very important skill, he needs time to learn about you. Every man loves a patient and understanding woman. If you’ve told him your shoe size before and he asks you again be patient with him, he will learn it in time. If he asks for anniversary dates don’t get mad, remind him again, he will catch up. If he juggles up your mentral circle remind him again, he will catch up. I’m no way making up excusses for our Forgetfullness and slow learning pace, but its hard to admit that that’s how most of us are. If we forget these things it doesn’t means that we don’t love you, or that we don’t care about you, we just forget things. And sometimes you don’t see it but we hate ourselves for it, and we’re doing all we can to remember them. Learn patience aunty, everything else we will do for you revolves around your ability to be patient with us to master them.

I know you may be expecting to read some important skills like learning how to polish men’s shoes, how to help with a tie, how to wash his shirts, etc. but nope, these are the top skills men need you to master, we can polish our shoes ourselves, thanks for trying to help. Just learn these few tips above, it will help us love you better.
