What Are The Things To Consider Before You Say YES To A Brother’s Proposal – Gloria Bamiloye Reveals
The issue of saying YES to a brother’s proposal is fast becoming that needs rapt attention many sisters are being deceived. Gloria, the wife of the great drama minister and Founder of Mount Zion Drama Ministries shares some useful advice as regards to this burning issue. She shared these words in an interview on the occasion of her 32nd wedding anniversary.
Earlier in the interview, she gave reasons why she gave in to the then “Bro Mike”, majoring on that his love for God made her accepted her proposal. She then went on to advice the sisters of this generation on God’s leading as regards a brother.
She said: “First, our God is not a God of confusion. Secondly, God knows the end. Thirdly, he cannot give away his own precious daughter to a brother who is not serious about the things of God!”
She in her words further said; that knowing God to be All-knowing and Almighty, it is better to surrender one’s totality to him faithfully. This will make him to lead and guide us on the right way in all things. She also said that studying God’s Word and ensuring intimacy with God is very important. She urged sisters to allow God to be their friend and father. It is only with this that a sister can understand whether God wants the brother for her or not. She finally said that God is sure to confirm the answer needed in one’s heart. This answer, according to her will give joy and peace, unspeakable one at that. It is one without any form of intimidation or fear at all.
