What Bishop Oyedepo Told Me when I Just Started Ministry – Sam Adeyemi Reveals
Sam Adeyemi, the president of the Daystar Leadership Academy, has shared a quote from Bishop David Oyedepo that he got when he first started his ministry.
The man of God said in a video posted on his verified Facebook page that he went to share a sermon with Bishop David Oyedepo because
“when I just began ministry, in the first year, I called a guest minister to speak, and the sermon was strong.” Sam Adeyemi cited David Oyedepo as saying, “I hope you’re not thinking that you’re going to expand that church on guest pastors,” but he also offered encouragement.
Because visiting preachers will draw visiting members when the visiting ministers go, the visiting members will follow them out of the church; it won’t outgrow you. Sam Adeyemi further said that in order to expand his ministry, Bishop Oyedepo advised him to develop into a figure that people would want to listen to.
