The Spiritual Head of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), Dr Uma Ukpai has revealed an event that happened in Owerri that made him cry.
The Reverend who made reference to the last time his birthday was celebrated said that the then Governor of Rivers State made him cry because of how beautiful the event went. But he noted that he doesn’t celebrate his birthdays because he sees it as a normal day in life. Time and money will be wasted in the namee of birthday celebration according to the Dr Uma.
According Rev Uma Ukpai on his 77th birthday: “Flights were chartered to fly people from Uyo to Abuja for my birthday celebration but while I was praying, God showed me something. He said to me that there were 1500 people in Owerri that were going through pains and tears. He asked me to choose, my birthday or the 1500 people in pains.
“When I chose to go to Owerri and abandon the birthday, my wife was even angry with me. That very day, I had to speak in Owerri and Aba. What made me cry was the move of God in Owerri. For 69 years, I have never seen such move by God. 1500 people were healed in Owerri without any prayer or preaching.
“It is my prayer that all of you will stop being a traditional thinker. When God disrupts your plan and programme, please don’t protest. Maybe I am here on Earth to wipe any the tears of many. If God has blessed you, please be willing to allow God to use you to be a blessing to others. That is what life is all about”.
