The Founder of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has revealed what he did when God had not called him and filled him with the Holy Spirit. He said he was led to plant a church in a village where there was no church. According to him, the passion to work for God made him do it.
“I was not filled with the Holy Ghost or called into Ministry when I was led to plant a church in a village that had no church before. I was just full of passion. Passion is part of what has given me my place in destiny”, he said.
He added that whatever concerns God demands a quick response because ‘slow motion’ does not work in the Kingdom of God.
Bishop Oyedepo’s story is touching and inspiring. It implies that you must not wait for God to call you or fill you with the Holy Spirit before you start doing what will please him. Your calling could come when God sees your level of commitment.
