What I Noticed After My Father Got Saved, Even Though He Abused Me When I Was a Child — Joyce Meyer
Joyce Meyer, the pastor in charge of Joyce Meyer Ministries in the United States, posted a video on her official Facebook page of a message she gave about God’s miracles and the one she has always thought was the best.
From 0:27 on in the video, the priest talks about how it has always surprised her to see someone saved in Christ Jesus and have to turn a new leaf. This is one of the miracles that God has done in people’s lives. So far, the cleric has said that it is still the greatest miracle. The cleric backed this up by talking about how her father got saved and what she started to notice about him after that.
The cleric said that she kept talking about the bad things that happened to her when she was young and lived with her father. She has always known him to be a very rude and aggressive man, even before he hurt her as a child. He would swear and use bad language every single day. He also curses and swears a lot because he is so mean.
The cleric said that there came a time when she and her husband went to see her father. She called her and said she was sorry for all of the bad things he did to her when she was young. As the priest told her, she knew that all her father needed at that time was to be saved. She asked him if he was ready to be saved. When he said yes, she and her husband prayed for him and baptized him.
As the minister said, everything about her father changed the day he gave his life to Jesus Christ and was saved. He doesn’t curse or say bad words any more. Everything about him changed, and he became a good man. Someone who used to be very rude and intolerant changed into someone who is very kind and calm. He laughed, and he is a kind person.
The Lord Jesus Christ has done a great miracle in his life, the miracle of salvation, which is still the greatest miracle.
