What Pastor Adeboye Said About TD Jakes At The Akwa Ibom Christmas Carols

The annual Carlos Service and Lessons of Akwa Ibom State blistered with bushels of splendor and barrage of glamour on Saturday night. The event which took place at the state capital in Calabar provided a veritable platform for the state Governor, Udom Emmanuel to lead his people to the presence of God in thanksgiving.

Among the notable men of God in attendance were the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the renowned international evangelist, TD Jakes and other prominent clergymen.

While delivering his short exhortation, pastor Adeboye spent some minutes to dwell on the personalities of Bishop TD Jakes and what eandears him to many people like him.

Pastor noted that he hardly follow Bishop who has nothing to offer him. According to him, if he watches any preacher preaching for about one hour and he could not gain anything from his message, he will never waste his time watching such a preacher again.

But in the case of Bishop TD Jakes, it is a different ball game. The first time he watched him preaching was about 30 years ago. That day, he saw a reason to stay glue to his ministration. Since then, he claimed he has been following the man of God and ensures he doesn’t miss his ministration whenever he has the opportunity.

Pastor Adeboye described him as a great man of God who practices what he preaches and confessed that he has a great measure of respect for him.

He pointed out in the gathering that for those who know him (Adeboye) will understand that he is not a man that flatters people. But when he says something about someone, he knows what he is saying and means it.

In other word, he is sure of the commendation and acknowledgement is giving to Bishop TD Jakes.

Pastor Adeboye made this known at the Carol service which was attended by Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state, captains of industries, top clergymen and prominent personalities within and outside the state.
