A Nigerian man has taken to his social media account and gained the attention of people with his controversial question. The man identified as Ifedolap Bayonle asked internet users a question concerning Bishop David Oyedepo’s dress code.
Recall that the Bishop David Oyedepo is the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide. He drives pleasures from blessing the souls of his church members and also drawing them close to God.
Sharing his tweet, Ifedolapo Bayonle asked what shall separate Bishop David Oyedepo from wearing white suits, white Shoes and red tie. He wrote: “What shall separate Bishop David Oyedepo from White Suit, White Shoe and Red Tie”?
Ifedolapo Bayonle is observant because the man of God has maintained the same dress code for years. It’s hard for you to see him mostly on Sundays or whenever he is preaching, wearing another colour of dress outside what was mentioned above.
However, in one of the Sunday’s I attended his service at Canaanland Ogun state, he started that wearing white suits is preferable because people don’t get to judge when he buys new outfits or not. He also emphasized that it saves time for him, adding that he don’t t get to spend much time thinking about what to wear to church.
Nigerians who came across the tweet shared by Ifedolapo stated that it would take the angel of God to separate Bishop David Oyedepo from wearing white suits, shoes and red ties. Some persons also revealed that they initially thought he was a Mass Communication Student.
Other were also in the view that Ifedolapo should be careful of what he says to a man of God. They also suggested that he should focus on a more pressing issue in society. See more reactions below.
