In a recent interview with Arise Television, the Prelate disclosed that after he learnt that his abductors spoke only Fulani, he tried to play smart by communicating in Igbo with the Bishop of Owerri. He also disclosed how the kidnappers reacted when he begged them like a father would do to a child.
According to the Nigerian cleric, when he tried to play smart with the Bishop of Owerri, he discovered that the gang leader could speak Igbo and had in fact, lived a long time in Umuahia with his parents who were also cattle rearers. Seemignly, the gang leader cautioned him and threatened to make things go wrong for him by taking a strange substance.
