What To Do To Restore The Lost Things In Your Life – Apostle Joshua Selman

There are many things that we have lost as Christians, both spiritually and physically, but it is imperative we understand that we can regain them all via divine restoration. Apostle Joshua Selman, on the other hand, spoke to his congregation on the four keys to regaining any lost thing in one’s life. They are as follows:

1. Examining Yourself (2 Corinthians 13:5)

When people are expressionless, he claims, they don’t take personal responsibility for asking, “why am I here?” This is not self-condemnation, but you must sit down and ask yourself why things are going wrong with you. You must take a seat and ask yourself real questions. Pain can be a gift because it can bring you to a point where you realise who you are. You must go on a personal retreat and say to God, “Lord, I am not happy with how my life is going.”

2. Brokenness (Psalm 51:17)

He defined brokenness as the recognition of one’s inability to help oneself without assistance. Many individuals desire God to restore them, but they still have a sense of self-righteousness and pride.

He stated that brokenness is not a state that you assume; rather, it is a state in which everyone around you can see that you are broken. You accept your brokenness without shame, which is a character trait of brokenness. Because they are not actually broke, many people are unable to receive restoration in their lives.

3. Knowledge (Proverbs 11:9)

He said that knowing what it takes is more important than knowing your situation or what you want. He asserted that most individuals know what they want and what don’t want, but they lack the understanding of what it takes to get it.

We require spiritual illumination at the highest level. To access faith, he continued, you must commit yourself to the labour dimensions of faith. It is beneficial to have information as well as understanding because it provides steadiness in one’s life.

4. The Prophetic (Isaiah 42:22)

“Restoration does not just happen,” he explained. “Someone has to say it.” There are some outcomes that you won’t be able to achieve on your own since God has placed others within the body to complement and connect your faith.

When the prophetic is used outside of the scriptures, he claims, it becomes a show of ignorance with no potency or power. When it is used in accordance with the scriptures, however, it has tremendous power and effectiveness. Only the prophetic can bring a degree of growth, restoration, and perfection into your life.
