TOPIC: YOUR PASSION – A KEY TO DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE.

SCRIPTURE: His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.” John 2:16-17 (NIV).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever makes you cry is connected to an answer you will render to your generation.

It has been confirmed that everyone on earth is created for a purpose. No one exists by accident.

Now, it is one thing to know there is a purpose for your life, but another thing altogether to discover that purpose. One of the ways to discover your purpose in life is to understand your passion.

Beloved, your passion is a pointer to your purpose. Let me give you a practical example: some time ago, I went for a crusade in a certain place. Before the meeting in the evening, a young lady sent me a text message about a critical challenge in her life. I called her on phone immediately, and when I heard how the devil afflicted her, I began to cry uncontrollably. She was telling me of a terminal affliction in her life. It might interest you to know that I didn’t even know her. I had never met her before but the pain she was passing through while speaking with me on phone made me to break down in tears.

My wife was confused because she was wondering what happened to me, and I wasn’t in the mood to talk. So, when I went to the crusade, I preached and ministered healing and deliverance to people with unusual passion.

Beloved, whatever makes you cry is connected to an answer you will render to your generation.

Unfortunately, today, we live in a generation where passion is scarce. Burden is scarce, so answers are also scarce. Your passion makes you literally grieve or mourn in response to certain challenges or situations that require answers and solutions.

REMEMBER THIS: Whatever makes you cry is connected to an answer you will render to your generation.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Critically observe and assess yourself to understand your passion, burden, or what makes you cry.

2. Follow your God-ordained passion and fulfil your purpose.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to be passionate for You and the purpose for which I live. Help me to know and follow the passion and burden of my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
