Whatever you sacrifice for God, You Will Definitely Achieve This- Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Reveals

Have you ever been in a situation where it seemed like you would suffer the loss of something precious if you go along with your Christian beliefs? The Bible declares that all who would want to live a goaly life in Christ would suffer persecution, so we should expect situations like this.

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has used the biblical account of Shedrack, Meshach, and Abednego, to talk about how important it is for us not to compromise our stand in Christ.

This was the main point of his teaching during the Daily Prophetic Encounter meeting of today.

He narrated that the Hebrew boys were young people in positions of power in Babylon. He said that the king had been good to them, but when he asked them to bow to an idol, which would have tampered with their relationship with God, they chose God instead of the king.

“What was the big deal in just bowing down. It was just a picture of Nebuchaddnezar.”

“Some of us our idols are Instagram. Chasing clout. You will be surprised at what people do just to get popularity today,” he said.

He said that he was not surprised that God showed up as the fourth man in the fire to save them.

“Whatever you sacrifice for God, you will reap a bountiful harvest of your sacrifice. These guys were prepared to sacrifice their jobs, even their lives, for God. Can you do the same?” he said.

Finally he asked his congregation to ask God for mercy if they had chosen something else besides him.
