When I said Emilokan, God heard my prayers, so I’m grateful – Bola Tinubu
The candidate for president of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Tinubu, claims that God has answered his prayers to become Nigeria’s next president once Buhari steps down. Remember when, a few months ago, the former governor of Lagos State said that it was his time to run the nation now that it was his turn?
Asiwaju Tinubu expressed his gratitude to the people of the state, in particular the members of the All Progressive Congress, who voted for him to be the party’s candidate in the presidential election that will take place on February 25, 2023. He made his remarks yesterday at the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo, which is where the event for the APC presidential candidate was held.
He brought up his remark from before the primaries, in which he stated that God had answered his prayers via the people. He did this to remind them of what he had said.
If one were to believe Bola Tinubu, “When I prayed to Emi Lo Kan and God for a response, you all were the ones who responded.” I was able to get the ticket. Permit me to begin by expressing my gratitude to everyone for that ticket. “I am grateful,” he said.
