Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God spoke on “Season Of Jubilation” at RCCG August Special Thanksgiving Sunday Service.
During his sermon, he said that when he told his people that he got promoted two times in one year in the University, they said no way, it doesn’t happen.
So, they asked him how and he said that he was promoted to Lecturer grade 1 at the University of Lagos, then he saw an advert at the University of Ilorin and applied and went for the interview. As soon as he got there, the man at the head of the panel used to be his Dean at the University of Lagos and he knew him. The man recognised him.
He said that the interview went very well and he got the job. So, he moved from Lecturer 1 to Lecturer 2 and then senior Lecturer in one year. People said, oh, that is not a miracle now, and he said that is because of the fellow you know.
“You know the King of Kings, you know the Lord of Lords, you know the Ancient of Days, you know the great promoter, that Kind of promotion that everybody will say, hey we have not seen this one before, it is coming your way,” he prayed.
Finally, he said that Jubilation comes when God does something that everybody will know that this can only be God. “And I’m trusting God, the one who called me and sent me to you, that before the end of this year’s convention, you will have that kind of testimony,” he prayed.
But in closing, there is a passage in Job 20: 4-5. It said, don’t you know, even from the beginning of the world that the triumphing of the wicked is for a short time, that if someone is a sinner and he is rejoicing and jubilating, He said the joy won’t last, the celebration won’t last. Accept Jesus today.
May the ALMIGHTY GOD perfect everything that concerns our covenant nation NIGERIA, the covenant church and His people in the four corners of the world in this season of perfect jubilee as we all remain rapturable at RAPTURE in Christ alone
