When You Kneel Down To Pray To God, Here Is What It Means

When You Kneel Down To Pray To God, Here Is What It Means.

Posture can be defined as the way a person holds and positions his/her body. There are different body postures we do maintain, and these positions signify one thing and the other. Your body posture when you pray will be different than the one you maintain when you sleep. When we also pray, there are some postures we maintain which include kneeling before the lord, lying before the lord, bowing before the rock of ages, standing before the lord, looking up to the lord and stretching our hands in his presence. Sometimes we also leap in his presence, and sometimes we stand still.

The efficiency of our requests to God can also be determined by the posture we make before him. When you pray to God for wealth, have you ever wondered why you are still not rich? Have you ever wondered why he is yet to intervene? It is because of the posture you make when praying. You can’t need God’s attention immediately, and still stand still before him, kneel before his presence and pray.

This article will be really helpful, as you will know the impact of the posture when sending requests to God:

1:When You Kneel Before The Lord, Here Is What It Signifies.

Kneel means to stoop down and rest on the knee, or the rest of the knees. When you kneel down before the lord, it means you want to reconcile with him, repent your sins and ask for forgiveness.

Kneeling to God signifies humbleness and respectfulness at the same time. One thing you will notice in some Bible chapters is that many prophets, kings and mere men do kneel down before the lord , when they move away from his path and switched from his lane.

Kneeling also signifies acknowledgement. Please read the book of Philippians 2:9-11 for proper clarification. Kneeling can also be a form of appeal. For instance, when your first wife bows before you, and the second kneels to greet you. Who will you give attention to the most, obviously the latter. This is also applicable when we send our request to God.
