In times of uncertainty and trial, remember how God sustained and delivered you in the past.

Remember what God did

“Friends there’s something very important about remembering how God has sustained you,” Scott said. “We’re living in a very interesting season where so much is going on, so much uncertainty, a lot of fear, a lot of not knowing what the future holds.”

God sustained you

He then shares the story of David and how he was able to defeat the giant just because he remembers what God did for him. During that moment where many felt fear, David remembered how God redeemed him from the lion and the bear. And it was also God who gave him victory over Goliath!

“David was not counting on the armor that Saul gave him, it actually didn’t fit. But here’s what David did do, David remembered that God delivered Him from the lion and the bear and it caused David to run into battle. And he valiantly defeated Goliath.”

“I want to encourage you to remember the deeds of the Lord in these days of uncertainty, in these days where fear is gripping many people. Let today be a day where you remember the deeds of the Lord. Because as surely as He’s delivered you from the past, He’ll deliver you today as well.”
