WHY AM I CONFUSED?

I walked up to a waec candidate some days ago, I asked her how are your examinations going? She replied,very well. I was happy towards her response therefore I engaged her into more conversation, below are the little conversations I had with her.👇

me: what are your plans after waec
vivian: planned to sit for Jamb next year
Me: okay… Which course do you want to apply for? ( I asked with a smiling face waiting for a response)
vivian: Public Administration
Me: My countenance changed and my month opened in amazement. Why? I thought you’ve longed to be an educationist, so,what have happened to it?  ( I asked furiously).
Vivian: uhmm I was confused when it was time to choose my subjects
Me: okay….
Vivian: Nobody was there to advice me and Art subjects being simple, I chose it.
Me: what are the works of a Public Administrator?
Vivian: I don’t know (reluctantly)
Me: (Her answer pierced through my heart that I unconsciously sounded how?!) How can you choose a course you don’t have knowledge of,or passion for.

What’s your vision?
Do you have a sense of personal purpose?
Do you know why you were born?
Vivian: (Almost in tears, her facial appearance suddenly showed how lost she was in thoughts)
Me: listen, I said 👇

Your course should be your passion and what you love doing, there’s a tendency of you becoming depressed and frustrated while studying what you don’t have passion for. I want to study pediatric Nursing because I love children (I gave an instant).

There are two things you should know, that is purpose and vision.
When you discover your vision,it will give you energy and passion.

Purpose is when you know and understand what you were born to accomplish while
Vision is when you can see it in your mind by Faith and begin to imagine it.

Have you search your heart?
What does your heart yearns for?
What do you see yourself doing in future?
Where do you see yourself in future?
What do you love doing most?
Have you prayed and ask God what he wants you to do?
You feel fulfilled when you discover all these….

God said”the plans he has for us are plans of Good and not of Evil” .
Sit up,
Pen down,
Watch and pray! God has bigger plans for you…
I’d love you to study a book titled “The Principles and Power Of Vision” by Dr Myles Munroe. (Started starring at her)
Vivian was short of words that all she could say was woww!!! I never knew this!(crying).
