General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman made clarifications on why Goliath cursed David in the name of his gods as recorded in 1Samuel 17:43.
7 minutes, 35 seconds into the video, Apostle Suleman said: “The Bible says Goliath cursed David in the name of his gods and David responded in the name of the Lord. Do you know why? Goliath knew that it was a spiritual battle. He knew that it was not just about a sling and a stone or sword. That was why he deployed the spiritual or diabolical realm and cursed him. At that point, David must have understood that Goliath was operating with strong diabolical powers”.
Having clarified that, he advised his members to be prepared for spiritual battle at all times because the devil does not care whether you are ready or not. “Christianity is not bout fun, it’s warfare”, he concluded.
