The Nigerian Televangelist and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman has revealed why he stop giving people things for free.
The clergyman said most people who get things they supposed to worked for, for free, they tend to become lazy and ungrateful. “Somebody told me that God told him to come to my Bible school for free and I should give him the guideline on how to start. I said, God cannot tell you to come for free because you are not the owner. The Spirit of God is not stupid. What the Lord can tell you is to come to the Bible school, then God will now talk to me, the owner of the Bible school to give you a scholarship. I told him not to come because, I’ve learnt by experience and try my best not to give people things for free, because most people given things for free, never value it. I don’t give scholarship to Bible school for free, except by the spirit of God. And when some people get some level of favor, they become lazy,” Apostle Suleiman
He also revealed what God told him after he lamented about people repaying his good deeds with evil. “Stop making people think that life is so easy, because when they get into the real world they will discover it wasn’t so. So, they will have to do something wrong to balance up the life that you gave them. The Lord told me when I asked him why people that come around me, end up being bad after I’ve done so much good for them and they end up being evil. The Lord said to me, not everybody. There are people that are good, they don’t pay evil for good but when you meet wrong people, there will be problem. Also, there are some people you promoted too fast. You didn’t allow them go through the process,” Apostle Suleman said.
