Bishop Oyedepo is one of the most respected clergymen in Nigeria today and one of the pioneers of the faith movement in Nigeria.
Bishop David Oyedepo who is the president and founder of the Living Faith Church with headquarters in Cannanland, Ota, has revealed during a service which held at the headquarters of the church on the reason why he stopped his Pastors from praying for his wife when her health was challenged.

The Bishop revealed that he had stopped his Pastors from praying for his wife and instead told them to pray for the needs of people coming to the church’s annual programme tagged “Shiloh” and for the success of the program as that was where her healing was. He said:
“During the time of the challenge on my wife’s health, we were in a prayer meeting preparing for Shiloh and the Pastor said, “Let’s pray for Mama’s health, for speedy recovery.”
I said: Stop that. People are coming for Shiloh with diverse needs. That’s what to pray. Stop that. I don’t have a second wife. Stop that.
In doing this is where her healing is: Oh Lord, heal every sick soul that is coming to Shiloh this coming week. Turn their lives around.

Bishop David Oyedepo is indeed a man of faith. His beloved wife is still standing very strong today. Glory to God.
