Why Jesus Is Still Building Mansions In Heaven – Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke about Understanding the Pathway to Godliness at the first Service, Faith Tabernacle. It was at the Covenant Family Day and man of God read from the book of 2nd Corinthians 3:18 which says:

“But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord”

The man of God revealed that every true revelation is ordained to produce change. Revelations are not meant to excite us, they are not designed to entertain us, they are unveiled to change our story. He said that, that is why every true revelation is revolutionary in nature. It changes us inside out.

He further explained that godliness is the only spiritual virtue that is relevant both in the now and eternity. Every other spiritual virtue stops here on earth. Understanding, faith, prayer and fasting, gift of the spirit, revelation and vision other virtues that will stop here on earth. “Every other spiritual virtue is limited to the now, only godliness transcends the now unto eternity. It calls for all the attention in the world,” he said.

He said that learning the pathway to godliness is an asset both for now and for eternity. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.” He then advised them not to be deceived by any preacher. “One by one, not group by group, not denomination by denomination, not ministry by ministry. For everyone of us shall give account of himself to God,” he said.

In conclusion, he said that Jesus is still building mansions because many will get there. He hates waste, so he can’t be building all these years if nobody was coming there.
