The Founder and the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has revealed the reason why many marriages crashed. He also revealed want people should do to make their marriages work.
The Pastor while speaking at Salvation Ministries Midweek Service, said many marriages failed because of wrong expectations. Good understanding of the Word will strengthen and inspire a strong expectation in marriage.
According to Pastor David Ibiyeomie: “You are saying all fingers are not equal, must you be the smallest? Why not be the tallest? It is your understanding that made you quote this statement upside down. The same is applicable in marriages today.
“They say that in every marriage there must be trouble and if you ask them why, they will say when we marry, we would expect it. Do you expect a divorce when these troubles keep coming? They will say we will divorce if it doesn’t work. This means they have already made up their minds from the beginning that their marriage will not work. Why wouldn’t the marriage fail?
