“Why Nobody In My Generation Will Ever Lack School Fees” Bishop David Oyedepo Reveals

Today was the impartation service at the 2021 Easter Youth Alive Convention at Winners Chapel, and God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo taught a powerful message on Receiving The Spirit Of Servanthood. During the sermon, while he was giving avenues where a christian can engage as a servant of God, he shared this compelling story about meeting the needs of others.

Bishop Oyedepo shared that there was a time he was coming back from an event, and he met a lady returning from a site where a building construction work was going on. She greeted him, and from the way she talked he could tell she was a student of Covenant University. He asked her why she was not in school, and she responded saying she was unable to pay her fees. Immediately he wrote a note for her to give to the registrar of the school informing the official that he will be responsible for her fees.

He continued by saying that later on, he met the lady at an event. He didn’t recognize the lady anymore, but she did, and she expressed her gratitude for the Bishop paying her school fees till she graduated.

“Nobody will ever lack school fees in my generation, because I can’t tell the number of people that have been sponsored by grace,” the Bishop said.

In his message, he encouraged us to prepare a Needs List for people who are needy around us. He made it clear that it is our kingdom obligation to help the needy around us, as we engage in financial stewardship by sowing to the kingdom.

“Engaging in financial stewardship is a sure way to emerge a financial giant on the earth,” the Bishop said.
