The Nigerian Televangelist and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman in a video on YouTube has revealed his reason why Satan tempted Jesus Christ with the bread.
According to Biblical stories, before the early ministry of Jesus Christ, He was tempted by the devil after His 40 days and night of fasting in the wilderness. We learnt from the sermon that Satan will always use what you love most to tempt you.
According to Apostle Johnson Suleman from the video: “When Jesus Christ was tempted by Satan, he used what Jesus loves most, the Bread.
“When Jesus was teaching He said, I am the Bread of Life. Another time Jesus was teaching, He took His Body and said it is the Bread. When He was even leaving prayer, He said Father give us our daily Bread”.
