These days, especially in Nigeria, there is a proliferation of what has been called “the prosperity gospel”. They preach that God’s will is for every Christian to live in prosperity and good health. The propagators of this gospel then teach the principles to activate the wealth God has prepared for every Christian, and all the time, these principles involve sowing money and reaping a harvest. Yet, in spite of all these teachings, you still see Christians going around in extreme poverty.
Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has revealed the reason for this anomaly. He said that if you don’t know your inheritance in Christ, you will live in poverty in spite of the fact that you have plenty available to you.
