Sarah Bassey is the wife of renowened Gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey. She hails from Akwa Ibom State,a graduate of computer science from the university of Uyo.
She has since devoted her life to serving God through helping her husband. She says,she works with her husband by helping with planning and getting him ready for the ministry.
She met her husbaand during a meeting he attended. He was a guest music minister and she was on the protocol team that welcomed him and helped got him ready,she recounted how he kept stealing glances at her through the vanity mirror. The helping and glances has not stopped till date.
She tells her experiences and challanges of being married to a man of such great gift and calling,saying it has not been easy but those are things one would have to deal with,as she derives joy helping her husband,could not mind being Mrs Bassey all over again.
However,she recounts that what she is still trying to get used to is ‘Calls’,saying
” i try to make him stay away from his,phone and ipad so he gets to rest as well as having some lone time with the family”.
Though sometimes ago she took to her instagram complaining that her husband sleeps at night while she nurses the children,saying that was the cause of her early morning frowns but the singer replied her and calmed her worries.
Sarah Bassey is one of the many wives of ministers ,both singers and preachers,who are,strong and helpful,a worthy emulate.
Their union is blessed with two beautiful children,a boy and a girl.
