Will there be only Africans in heaven? Pastor Kumuyi’s Explanations
Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, talked to his people during the just-finished Global Crusades on “The Multitude Of Cleansed Conquerors, Consecrated To The Lamb.” He mentioned the Lamb who takes away the world’s sins. We gather to celebrate the extraordinary freedom He has given us because of the salvation He provides.
According to him, John the Beloved was alone because all the apostles had gone to glory, and the persecutors who surrounded him kidnapped him and detained him on the isle of Patmos for the word of God and the witness of Jesus Christ. He was alone there until the Lord suddenly lifted him off of the ground and into the spirit. He was alone with John the Beloved, but God took him out of the earth and revealed amazing insights to him.
But will there just be Africans in heaven, like the Israelites believed heaven was solely for themselves and Abraham? “He then said that the children of Israel had thought when they get to heaven they will see Abraham and Israelites only. “They thought heaven was for one nation, but not only Israel will get to heaven, not only Africans will go to heaven, not only Asians will go to heaven, but all the saints of Christ who are washed and cleansed are the candidates for heaven, and you are going there in Jesus’ name,” the cleric continued.
He concluded by saying that only those who are ready will enter paradise. And you will succeed there through God’s love and unfathomable kindness. You will arrive there thanks to God’s freely given grace, which is extended to everyone, and He will wipe the tears from your eyes. He won’t ask an angel to do it; only God will do it. God has already come down to turn your sadness into joy today, and He will do the same tonight. God has made this promise to those who are battling and devoted to the Lamb.
