The man of God started by saying that women like romance, and he continued by saying that romance is not hard, but it is the act of doing ordinary things in a special way.
He said a little thoughtfulness will help in being romantic and he gave an example that you don’t just take your wife to where they are selling perfume and say “My wife sees perfume, pick anyone you want, I will pay.” He disagreed by saying that is not romance, and that instead, the man should think of the fragrances that the wife likes already and buy one of them. He explained that women like the good professors we have in schools for showing the work and for the fact that you thought of the fragrance that she likes, she has already scored you points that you are trying.
He said after you buy the fragrance, you won’t just bring it to the house and say, “You have been complaining about perfume and I have bought perfume. You can start using it. Let me see whether you like it.”
The man of God said no, that is not how it is done. He said after you have bought the perfume, then you should wrap it with something nice. This is because women enjoy the process and men enjoy the projects.
He said for men, wrapping a gift is stressful because they go through the stress of unwrapping it. For women, that process is necessary, so the man of God advises that the gift be wrapped and that it shouldn’t be given to the woman, that it should be hidden. He said that a note should be attached to the gift with the words, “you find it the way I found you.” He said when she finds this gift, the man would have scored many points in her heart.
