Women Do not ask your daughters to go and request for the head of John the Baptist – Rev. Funke Adejumo Reveals Why

The Bible says that train a child in the way he should go and when he grows, he will not depart from it. However parents should be very much involved in the development of their children. The things a mother teach a child will be what the child act upon when he or she grows up. However, Pastor Funke Adejumo, spoke to the woman in the church who act like the wife of Herod that asked her daughter to request for the head of John the Baptist.

Herod had already promised to fulfill any of his daughter’s wishes and the little girl who could not decide on her own went to meet her mother. However, the man of God advised women not to ask their daughters to go and request for the head of John the Baptist. What is the head of John the Baptist? She said that it is anything that will not last; anything can cannot feed them; anything cannot make them stand on their feet; anything that is evil and anything that is not a part of their destiny.

She said that she stands as a mother but not a perfect one and there are mistakes that she has made but she does not want her kids to make the same mistakes. They should look at her life and learn that this is not how to do it just the same way she did with her mother. The mother should be an example for the child to know what to do and what’s not to do. “You must be an improvement of the past generation,” she said.

However, mothers should be cautious of what they teach their children and the children should be also cautious of the things that they learn from their parents. You don’t have to copy everything from them.
