Yinka Ayefele Statement About Providing For Parents Over Wife’s Made Fans Disagree With Him

Family matters are very delicate matters and it takes a lot of wisdom in analysing them. Once you are legally married, your ‘immediate’ family is your primary responsibility because you have chosen to cater for them, lead them, nurture them and be their source. This doesn’t mean that you should neglect your ‘extended’ family.

The power of the social media cannot be underestimated as whatever you say, how you say it and when you say it may mean different things to different people. Ayefele is a celebrity and has almost a million fans of Facebook, he is entitled to his opinion but it doesn’t mean that everyone will buy into all he says.

Ayefele who is a musician, father, husband, son and entrepreneur used his platform on Facebook to post that while you are feeding your wife, you should not forget to provide for your parent. Obviously, no one had an issue with that.

The issue of disagreement from a sect of his fans came when he used the word ‘better’ as he made a comparison.

He said “God bless you my son is better than thank you my darling.” That is where the disagreement is because many people feel he shouldn’t have compared both parties, some of course agreed with him but many other people disagreed with his opinion and they say a woman is equally important in the home.
