The living Faith Church Founder, Bishop David Oyedepo concerning his teachings of tithe and Offerings has said “With God, Believers body are more important to God than the Offerings they bring.
Reading from 1 Corinthians 6:20
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
And Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
He further said every believer should guard their thought from every evil imagination because it is what they think that they are going to do. Because the bible says in Genesis 6:5
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And Matthew 12:34
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
So therefore, he admonished every believer to live a life full of Christ by glorifying God in our soul and body which are God’s own.
