The General Overseer of Encounter Jesus International Ministry, Apostle Michael Orokpo disclosed how a man became poor and bittered after giving out 1 Million Naira to a prophet.
According to the video he posted recently on his Facebook page, the clergy man was teaching his members on how God can reward men in different ways before he digress to telling a story of man who didn’t prosper despite the huge money he gave.
Apostle Michael said that after ten years, the man who gave out 1 million came to him complaining that he has been scammed by fake prophets.
The clergy and went further to say that one of the way to provoke God blessing is through generous giving. That means giving out 1 million might not yield 10 million for you, most especially if you’re doing it out greed and not with love.
Before the story he narrated, he told his congregation that you might not get money in return just because you have given huge amount money to God, it might be deliverance from accident you will get instead or favour with men.
Finally, Apostle Michael Orokpo revealed that the man later repented from giving without love in his heart and things behind to work out for his good.
